Privacy & cookies
Short version: the extensions never track you, and this website measures nothing until you agree to it. If you decline, no analytics is loaded at all.
The extensions
The tools listed on this site contain no analytics and no tracking code. Your settings, history, and saved items stay in your browser's local storage — they are never sent to me, and I have no way to see them.
The only network requests an extension makes are the ones needed to do its job. For AI Text Translator, that means the text you select is sent to a translation or text-to-speech service to be translated or spoken. If you add your own API key, it is stored locally in your browser and used only to talk to that provider's API.
This website
With your consent, this site collects aggregate usage statistics so I can see which tools people find useful and what is worth improving.
What is measured
- Pages viewed and approximate location (country/city level)
- Which product is opened, and which detail tab is read
- Clicks on install buttons, the portfolio link, and email links
- Device, browser, and referring site
What is not done
- No personal profiles are built about you
- No data is sold or shared for advertising
- Advertising and cross-device signals are switched off
- No account, sign-up, or form is required to use this site
Who processes it
Measurement runs through Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited. IP addresses are anonymised, and Google acts as a data processor on my behalf. Data may be transferred to and stored on servers outside the European Economic Area, which Google covers through the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. Google's own handling of this data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Legal basis and retention
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given through the banner. Analytics data is retained only for the period configured in Google Analytics — a maximum of 14 months — after which it is deleted automatically.
Cookies and storage
Before you make a choice, this site sets no cookies and loads no
third-party scripts. Your decision is saved in your browser's
local storage (key tinykits-analytics-consent), not in a
tracking cookie, so declining leaves no identifier behind.
If you accept, Google Analytics sets its own cookies (typically
_ga and _ga_<id>) to tell repeat visits apart. If your
browser sends a Do Not Track signal, analytics stays off and the
banner is not shown at all.
Your choices and rights
You can change your mind at any time using Cookie settings in the footer of the site — that reopens the banner so you can accept or decline again. Clearing your browser storage also resets the choice.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, to object to or restrict processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Because the analytics data is aggregate and contains no name, email, or account, I usually cannot link it to you personally — but if you have a question or request, email me and I'll handle it myself.
